There are a ton of baby rockers and swings on the market today, but what if you could get a rocker and a swing that has different reclining options and swinging motions all rolled into one?! This is a 4Moms mamaroo review!

The 4moms mamaroo review might have you running out to buy one, but before you do, read this! But one thing might deter you from this all in one item. The price tag.
I received the 4moms mamaroo rocker about 4 years ago as a baby shower gift and I was shocked that I got this $250 item as a gift! But I was stoked because it looked so cool on display inside babies R us.
I thought to myself while watching this thing in action; “This thing has everything! It looks soooo cool and modern”. And it is.
It has multiple reclining positions, multiple swing settings to mimic a car drive to rocking arm motions. It has music options too. It comes with multiple sounds such as rain or heartbeats.
It even has a place to plug in your phone or iPod and play your own tunes for baby to fall asleep.
It also comes with a mobile that hangs from the back of the swing that has 3 soft plushy oval shaped balls that have colors on one side or black and white patterns on the other for whichever your little one prefers.
Another major plus for me is, this thing is sturdy! It has lasted through multiple moves, my toddler pulling and grabbing on it, and it lasted through 2 kids and it’s still going strong!
Now my only wishes for this item is that the mobile would rotate or turn on its own. It doesn’t, granted when the swing moves the mobile does since it’s attached but it doesn’t turn or rotate like a traditional one.
It also doesn’t recline fully down like other rockers. This is great to lower the choking or SIDS sleeping risk but when my little one wanted to lay back a little further this rocker just didn’t measure up.
It reclines back far enough so baby will snooze in there but it doesn’t recline fully down like some other rockers on the market.
But once again that’s mainly user preference since my baby at one point would ONLY want sleep in the rocker but never stayed asleep long.
(Which is the point since technically rockers are not designed for long periods of sleep but lets be real, who is waking up a sleeping baby from a rocker because it’s been longer than an hour?).
After looking at the 4moms website, the rockaroo option looks like it does recline back further than the mamaroo so there is always that option as well.
But the rockaroo only has one motion and one recline option unlike the mamaroo which has 5 motion options and different reclining positions.
Mamaroo rocker by 4moms has been a lifesaver for sick babies too! Keeps them upright enough to help them breathe!
I used this all the time when my baby got a cold and had breathing issues to keep her propped up a bit to sleep and rock so I could shut my eyes for a moment and regroup!
The specifications for the rocker are 33″L x 19.5″W x 25.5″H and weighs 19lbs. Weight limit is 25lbs.
Price starts at $220. They do offer 0% interest monthly payment options ($19/month) via AfterPay through their website!
My kiddos are too big for this item now but I will definitely be using this for any future babies we may have.

[…] But her naps still weren’t great unless she was sleeping on me and I couldn’t always do that. We had the 4Moms MamaRoo rocker as well and that worked great up until around 5 months old. (read that full review here) […]
