When you think of adjustable pillows do you think of some super fancy, high-tech pillow?
I had never heard of adjustable pillows until Core Products sent me the new Adjust-A-Loft Fiber Adjustable Comfort Pillow to test and give my honest review.
This pillow is unique in the sense that it comes in a circular packaging. I have never seen pillows come in a tube style packaging.
It reminded me of those beds that come in the box and fluffs up over time. Except this pillow is easier and quicker than those.
Once you take it out of the packaging, you just shake and fluff it up and within seconds you have a full blown pillow.
The pillow material is super soft and comfortable. I also love the fact it comes with a cooling gel insert because summertime in California gets hot!
Inside the adjustable pillows comes a gel insert, plus the polyester fiber material which is also very soft!
Now how these adjustable pillows work is you can take out the fiber material inside the pillow and adjust it to your comfort level.
Whether you are a side sleeper, back sleeper, or stomach sleeper there is an instructional paper inside the packaging that explains how much material to take out depending on what type of sleeper you are.
Once the adjustable pillow is to your liking, you can sleep comfortably. I love how soft the pillow is and how comfortable it is to lay down and forms to your head and neck.
Personally I am usually a stomach sleeper, although I rotate between side sleeping and stomach sleeping.
I love that in order to get a great nights sleep without my neck being too upright from stomach sleeping, I just remove 1/3 of the fiber material inside and the pillow is “flat” enough to sleep comfortably on my stomach without contorting my neck and feeling too propped up like on other pillows.

CONS:
- Price is a little expensive for a pillow ($49.95 for one, $79.99 for 2 pack), but the fact you can adjust for any sleeping position makes it worth it
Overall this pillow is unique. I haven’t seen any other pillow like these adjustable pillows anywhere. I love the fact you can change the comfort level by removing or adding material.
It is also nice that the gel insert is removable and the pillow is machine washable. Especially with kids who seem to always make their way into parents room with snacks, its great that this pillow can just be tossed in the washing machine.
