I first heard of the FitTrack smart scale on social media like most people nowadays. I was intrigued because I had always wanted something to track “all the things” besides just my weight. Mainly because there are SO many different factors that affect your weight.
So I purchased the FitTrack smart scale on Amazon. I opened the box and was pleasantly surprised by the design and sleekness of this scale.
It was thin and not overly bulky and since I purchased the white version, it fit my bathroom aesthetics perfectly so it was not an eyesore.
Setup was easy, just download the app and sync the scale on bluetooth to your phone. Set up your profile on the app which asks basic questions like height, age, gender, etc. Then step on to calculate all the stuff.
You don’t have to input anything, the scale “talks” directly to the app and all the data gets imported without you having to even think about anything.
I loved this feature. I loved that I didn’t have to input anything that it all synced up via bluetooth and I could go on about my day.
It was also super intriguing to find out all the other date like body mass, BMI, muscle rate, body water, metabolic age, visceral fat index, fat mass, bone mass, etc.
So many things it calculates it can actually get overwhelming especially if you aren’t sure what any of those things actually mean.
A quick Google search can help you there though.
I love how simple and easy-to-use this scale and app is. Very user friendly.
PROS:
- easy to setup
- app is user-friendly
- tracks more than just weight
- sleek design
- Beautiful aesthetics
- lightweight, not bulky
- gives a better sense of your health
- accurate from what I can tell
- allows to track progress in the app with saving info via bluetooth
- if pregnant, it will take that into account when tracking
- allows you to input your activity level for more accurate results
CONS:
- more expensive that other scales (but also does more so its expected)
- if you step on more than once, back to back weigh-ins to track accuracy, it will track the average of the weigh-ins
Overall I have been using this FitTrack smart scale for over a year now and I love the accuracy, the sleek look and how easy the app is to use. I would recommend this scale to anyone who wants to track other things besides just weight and who wants a better sense of their health.
