How Long to Get a Tan?

August 15, 2020 by Amelia Zamora Leave a Comment

Us moms out there don’t have time to sit in the sun for hours to get a nice sun-kissed glow. Plus sitting there for hours on end is bad for your skin anyways. So how long to get a tan without sitting in the sun for hours?

Less time than you may think with these 2 products. You no longer have to fry your skin in the sun to get a tan. But you may still be wondering how long to get a tan then?

Well using these 2 products from Golden Star Beauty you can get a nice subtle glow within an hour!

Yes, ONE HOUR.

Now if you’d like a darker glow/tan, then you may have to wait longer and reapply.

But for the most part just to get a subtle glow on that fair skin, it will take about an hour. These two natural, organic sunless tanning products are amazing and work FAST!

Self-Tanner Lotion

This lotion is amazing. First off its super hydrating and it smells ah-maze-ing!

Seriously smells like a tropical vacation. Most self-tanners smell all chemically and covered with artificial scents but this brand of self-tanner lotion is all natural and organic so it doesn’t have any chemical smells.

This is why I love it.

Another reason is because it is quick! Took me about 4 minutes to tan my legs and that included reading the directions.

It goes on so smooth and its so hydrating! Definitely doesn’t dry out the skin like other tanners I’ve tested out.

It also started showing a subtle tint within an hour after application. For a more deep tan you can reapply after a few hours/one day to build up the tan but honestly just the subtle glow after an hour worked for me!

Say goodbye to stark white legs after being in leggings all winter!

Face Tanning Oil

Now face tanners I usually am terrified of because I mean, its your face.

You can hide a bad tan on your legs and arms but not really on your face.

Thankfully this face tanner is in oil form and simple to apply!

Again, super hydrating and I just used a little bit on the outer edges of my face where I would naturally get tan to create a more contoured effect.

I (again) saw a subtle tint after one hour which was perfect for me because I didn’t want too harsh of a tan on my face!

Again, you could build up the tan by reapplying but honestly this first application was all I needed, especially if you are in a hurry!

So with these two inexpensive items from Golden Star Beauty, I got a subtle glow within an hour! Quickest tan you will ever get! No more sitting around wondering how long to get a tan because with these two products, its only an hour!

Plus get 15% off using code TANMAMABEAR if you want to try these products out yourself from either their website or Amazon. If you want to use the code on Amazon, just enter it under “gift card/promotional code” section.

PROS:

  • smells amazing
  • super hydrating
  • inexpensive in comparison to others on the market
  • natural ingredients
  • organic
  • no more sunburns or UV exposure
  • quick results
  • no orange looking skin
  • buildable tan for desired results
  • tanning body lotion comes with a mit
  • face tanning oil, little goes a long way

CONS:

  • no colored tint, so a bit hard to see where you’ve applied so you don’t miss a spot, but since its buildable you can go over the spots you miss to even it out

Overall these two products are definitely worth trying out especially if you don’t want to wait forever for a nice sun-kissed glow! Both products together cost under $55 and with code TANMAMABEAR you can get 15% off your order (even on Amazon!)
