Want to improve the air quality in your house or room? Then you probably need something to clean the air. Lets review the Okaysou Air Purifier and see if it will work for you!
Cleaner air is something we desire in our homes, right? Well sometimes that can’t be done with old fashion cleaning and some room spray! Sometimes we just need something to purifier the air and suck out all those unwanted particles.
The Okaysou company sent me their medical grade air purifier to review, the AirMax8L. I have been using for a couple weeks now and I’m writing to see if the Okaysou air purifier held up to the test with Northern CA pollen and allergy season.
*Disclaimer: this product was sent to me in exchange for an honest and unbiased review. All opinions and thoughts on this machine are my own.*
I am very particular about air purifiers and if they will hold up to my standards of giving better air quality. With two small kids, I want the air in my home to be the cleanest version especially during the height of allergy season!
So when Okaysou claimed that their medical grade purifier with the H13 filter, captured 99.97% of air pollutants in the room, I was a bit skeptical.
I decided to truly test this product. I placed it in my kitchen next to the back door.
This is the door my kids go in and out of to play in the backyard and track in all sorts of air pollutants. Plus since it is in the kitchen, there is also cooking happening and different air odors happening there as well.
The company claimed to have fresher air quality and cleaner air.
I will say, I was pleasantly surprised.
The kitchen area feels cleaner. The air quality by the cooking area is fresher and when I am standing there cooking over the stove, I no longer sneeze and cough when the kids come through the back door.
It was super easy to install and get up and running. Basically take the filters out of the coverings and pop back in and plug in. Easy as that.
There are some features I also love about this machine.
First, it has multiple air flow settings from low to high. I keep mine on medium because it is the perfect amount of air flow with minimal noise.
I will turn it on high if we are in and out of the backyard but other than that it just constantly runs on medium air flow.
The other great feature of this machine, especially if you have toddlers or small kids like I do, there is a child lock feature!
My toddler of course wanted to push all the buttons on the new machine because well toddlers, right?
I put the child lock button on (just hold finger on it for 3 seconds to turn on-super simple) and this locked all the features so my little one couldn’t mess with my settings! Genius!
This machine has a sleek design, plain white with black trim so it will not clash with any decor. I barely notice it half the time.
Another cool feature, is this machine has a timer. So if you do not wish to have it run all day long when you are not home, you can set a timer for how long you wish it to run for and it will automatically shut off after that.
PROS:
- sleek design
- child lock feature
- multiple fan speeds
- can purchase on Amazon for fast shipping
- improved air quality and odor control
- uses medical grade filter H13
- company has small and big air purifiers for different room size (one reviewed is for up to 800 sq. ft.)
- 5-year warrenty
- ultra-duo filtration system to capture even more bacteria and pollutants
- has sleep button function for an even quieter purifier
- filter change indication button
CONS:
- some may think price is a bit expensive, $118.98 for the large room purifier and $88.98 for the small room purifier but price is worth quality in my opinion
- cheaper options out there, but remember you get what you pay for
Overall I like what the purifier did to the air quality in my home. I can breathe better, I do not sneeze and cough as much as before I used this machine and my kitchen has less odors from the outside or while cooking.
