Finding the right bottles for your baby can be a struggle because there are so many options. So which brand do you choose? The hard part is, every baby is different. But here is some pros and cons in a Medela bottles review.
You may be like I was and you sat and Googled baby bottles or you asked all your friends who had babies which bottles they preferred. Chances are they each said something different.
I was in the same boat, but I decided to go with what my sister recommended and purchased the Dr. Brown bottle because she told me it would help with baby gas and colic.
So once baby girl was here and I ended up having to formula feed, I used the Dr. Brown bottles.
She hated them.
Not even going to try and be nice about it. She hated those bottles. And personally, I hated them too.
They were a pain to clean because there are so many different little parts to help with the gas, but I didn’t really think it helped.
So since she refused to drink from those, I had to find another alternative.
I headed to Target, went to the baby section, and the only other brand in stock was Medela.
So we purchased those and off we went home to clean them and test these ones out and prayed that baby girl would like it.
These bottles were a breeze to clean. Three simple parts and you could clean every part easily.
Plus the major bonus of these, baby girl LOVED it!

She drank like a champ with these bottles, never fussy and right after we would burp her and sit her upright so she wouldn’t get gassy.
No issues! We were thrilled!
Another bonus, was the Medela bottles fit right into my Medela pump so I could pump directly into the bottle then just put a lid on it and save for later!
Super easy and simple. No more transferring from bags to bottles of multiple different brands.

PROS:

- bottle nipples look more like the real thing than other brands
CONS:
- can be hard to find in store sometimes, but can always purchase online
These bottles have served me well through both of my daughters and I would continue to use for any future babies as well. They are durable and last. This is what led me to write the Medela bottles review.
