Brighten Those Tired Mom Eyes
I have a few hacks for the under-eye brightness category.
First being, to try and get rid of dark circles all together!
Which is exactly what I did using 2 products! I used the DRMTLGY brightening eye masks and their HPR eye cream! These took my eyes from dark to bright, just look!
Lastly, add some highlighter in the inner corners of your eyes to make them pop and appear brighter and more awake! Little makeup hack to brighten those tired mom eyes!
Move Your Body
Have you ever had a chill relaxing day on the couch but then about half way through the day feel even more tired than when you started?
Moving your body can get the blood in your body flowing and actually give you more energy throughout the day!
Whether it is a workout, walking with your kiddos around the block, going in the backyard and running around with them, just move your body.
Getting off the couch or out of bed can help a tired mom feel a bit more energized because the blood is flowing and your brain can wake up, even if you don’t necessarily want to.
Get Outside
Get outside. Plain and simple. Getting outside can help wake you up. Fresh air can actually make your tired mom days feel a bit easier.
Fresh air can wake you up, especially if there is a nice chill outside.
You don’t necessarily have to be outside for a long period of time either. Just stepping outside for a few moments in the sun can boost your mood and your energy levels.
Internal Care
If you still feel like you are dragging throughout the day or have that mid-afternoon slump, it may be internal.
Try figuring out which vitamins your body may be lacking, making you even more of a tired mom than usual.
I also love taking my Yu Beauty purple tea supplement drink to give me a boost of energy today without the jitters!
Get Ready for the Day
Nothing makes you feel less tired than actually changing out of those pajamas. Now I’m not saying put jeans and some pearls on, no!
But throw on a pair of black leggings and a clean shirt and you will already feel more awake and look more presentable.
Another great way to look more alive as a tired mom, is to shower and do your hair.
Now I’m not saying spend hours on end drying and curling your hair. Let’s be honest, who has time for that!
But what you can do to quickly get your hair “done” is get one great hot tool.
My favorite and most used tool to make my hair look more presentable is this Revlon dryer and styler in one brush! It makes for the perfect blow out look!
Thats all I do to my hair to give it volume and make it look more presentable than just a 10 day old messy tired mom bun.
Don’t get me wrong, I rock those too. But if you want to feel and look less tired, try getting ready for the day whatever that looks like for you.
Another great hair item I use is Monats dry shampoo which is formulated with natural products without the propane and other chemicals. Spray some of this on and bam you have fresh looking hair and no one has to know your actually on day 8 of not washing it.
Hopefully these hacks will help you, tired mom, look more awake and feel a bit more energized to tackle your crazy day! And if all else fails, drink a lot of coffee!
