Here are some items for your diaper bag checklist that are useful to have, besides diapers and wipes because let’s be honest-that’s a given!
FOR BABY/TODDLER:
- Boogie Wipes (read my review here)
- Pacifier/teether (if your kid is teething)
- DIY first aid kit (band-aid, Neosporin, infant Tylenol, nail clippers/file)
- Hand sanitizer
- Silicone reusable place mat (see my review for my personal favorite)
- Extra outfit for accidents or messiness
- Coloring crayons & paper
- Small toy/book for entertainment purposes
- Sippy cup or bottle for water/juice/milk/etc.
- SNACKS (because toddlers are always hungry!)
FOR MAMA:
- Hand sanitizer
- Tide pen
- DIY mama essentials kit (travel concealer, travel mascara, hair ties, Advil, tampons)
- Chapstick
- Power bank or extra charging cord if you or the kiddos use your phone a lot
- SNACKS (because mama needs a pick-me-up snack too!)
These are some items that you may not think of that could be handy to have in your bag or even in the trunk!
