5 Mom Hacks for When Mom Needs Help

Life gets hard. Here are some mom hacks for mom needs help.

We’ve all been there. Done things the hard way only to hop on Pinterest or Google and see an easier or quicker way to do the same exact thing! Ugh! Well I’m here to share some of my hacks that have saved time as well as my sanity!

Bath Seat for Baby

This one is for bath time, more specifically for bath time with multiple kids. Although this works with one kid too. A baby bath seat.

This summer infant bath seat has given me the ability to bathe both my girls at once with more safety and peace of mind than just plopping both in the tub.

This seat is amazing for littles who need some extra support when sitting or just to keep your little one corralled in the tub without slipping!

Restaurant Busy-Kit

A DIY restaurant kit to keep kiddos entertained during the wait time before eating.

This kit you can make yourself by using crayons, small coloring books or just taking sheets of paper, small books, small toys like a little car (or any age appropriate toy), or travel puzzles.

You could also throw in a bib if your kid uses one. And also baby or hand wipes are also a great item to have on hand, especially at a restaurant!

This kit will give you sanity during a meal out and also allow you to not get dirty stares if you give your kids your phone during wait times. Don’t worry, we’ve all been there.

Give the kid your phone so you can have an adult conversation and moment of quiet. No judgment here. But this is a great alternative without the judgmental stares.

Pacifier Clips for Toys

Using pacifier clips to keep baby’s toys from flying everywhere.

This works great in the car when you can’t reach whatever you little one has decided to throw and then proceed to cry when it’s gone. We’ve all been there!

To avoid this, use a pacifier clip to clip the toy to the car seat strap so even if they throw the toy, it’s still within reaching distance for them. This trick also keeps toys from hitting the floors in shops or at restaurants!

Indoor Bubble Time

Need an indoor activity to keep your kid from bouncing off the walls? If they like bubbles, take a bubble gun or tube of bubbles and have them blow bubbles into the tub!

Makes less of a mess. Plus you can make it a game for older kids and set up toys or obstacles for them to try and hit with the bubbles.

Baby Formula Maker

If you had trouble breastfeeding like I did with both my girls and formula fed, then this product is a MUST HAVE.

Nothing is worse than a nighttime feeding with a screaming crying baby trying to warm up water to the perfect temperature and then try and scoop formula in with one hand into that bottle and mix it well enough that baby will take it.

This process can seem like forever and is a task no sleep deprived mama needs to battle. This BabyBrezza Formula Pro was a lifesaver for me!! No more hand mixing bottles, warming water, etc.

Just add water to the reservoir and add a container of formula to the formula compartment and you’re done.

The next time you need a bottle, just place it on the tray, push the correct button of how many oz you need to make and viola. Done.

The machine makes sure the temperature is perfect and it mixes and pours it all for you! Hands down the best hack I’ve ever had as a mama. And this works whether you are using name brand or store bought formula.
