I used to think that putting oils on oily skin would only make my skin worse. You would think that would be the case, right? Well actually some oils can actually help with the production of oils!

You skin naturally produces oils, some people have more oil production on their skin than others. But instead of washing your skin multiple times a day, which will actually make your skin produce MORE oils because its drying out your skin more.

Essential oils for oily skin can work miracles for the skin. But there are specific oils that work better than others.

So, which essential oils do I use for my oily skin?

Tea Tree

Tea Tree oil is wonderful for skin! Tea tree oil can help with acne scars and dark spots too!

It smells amazing and can help with breakouts, redness and overall softness of the skin.

Vitamin-E oil

This is another great one! Vitamin E oils also help with dark spots and this oil will add a TON of moisture back into your face and cause less oil production overall.

Vitamin E oil will also make your eyelashes grow so long and full! Don’t believe me, see below for my results after using vitamin E oil for a little over 2 months!

You can find vitamin E oil at Target for super cheap!

Frankincense Oil

Frankincense oil mixed with lemon and lavender oils and your choice of carrier oil (like coconut oil or almond oil) and a little witch hazel mixed together creates a great under-eye roller!

This blend will help lighten the dark circles under your eyes! Again, don’t believe me? Check out my results below! Left is from April 1st, 2020 and the right is from April 18th, 2020.

Grapefruit oil

Grapefruit oil mixed with coffee grounds, sugar, and coconut oil makes a great cellulite scrub!

The grapefruit oils has amounts of the bromelain enzyme which could help break down cellulite and lessen its appearance.

If all else, it makes a great smelling exfoliate for the skin too!

For more information other benefits of essential oils, you can check out my post here about how I used them to combat colds in my household!
