If you are anything like me, you prefer your coffee iced. I won’t drink it hot. But the Keurig only makes hot coffee right? Well with this one item, I’ll tell you how to make iced coffee with Keurig.
I love me some iced coffee, I actually hate hot coffee I won’t drink it. If someone gives me hot coffee I immediately get a cup of ice and make it enjoyable. Anyone else love iced coffee?
Now I used to just make my coffee the night before and put it in the fridge so it would be ready to go by the next morning, then I could just add my creamer and be on my merry way.
But sometimes in the chaos that is parenthood, I would forget to make it the night before. Then the next morning it was just a disappointment to make it and place in freezer/fridge to wait.
No one wants to wait for coffee, lets be real. So I found this gadget on Amazon, called The Hyperchiller, that you pour hot coffee into and within seconds its cold!
So how this gadget works is you untwist it and there are 2 smaller tin containers inside. The smaller one you fill with water up to the fill line and then twist back onto the main lid.
Then the second tin container you fill with water to the fill line and then pour it into the black main container. Then twist everything back together and freeze for at least 12 hours (I just did it overnight).
Then the next morning, take out the hyperchiller and either pour your morning hot coffee into the top or place directly under your Keurig machine and brew coffee as usual.
The best thing about this, it takes 60 SECONDS to get your coffee chilled by 130 degrees! What?! Amazing!
All I do is swirl the coffee around continuously inside the hyperchiller for 60 seconds then pour over my cup of ice.
Add creamer and whatever else you desire and BAM iced coffee that won’t melt your ice and make it all watered down!
Then just place in the freezer again after rinsing and your ready for the next use!
And trust me, I add ice mainly for that clinking sound and just to be fancy, but you could totally just pour it in the cup without ice and it would still be chilled.
I use ice and by the time I finish my coffee (usually around 1pm because well, mom life) there is still ice cubes in the cup!
So no more watered down coffee or using a million ice cubes to make it “iced” and no more making it the night before to chill in the fridge then it’s a weird taste that’s lost its strength and flavor.
I can now have freshly brewed ICED coffee with just this one tool! And the bonus of it, you don’t have to wash it every single use!
Which sounds gross, but according to the company, you don’t need to wash it every use. thoroughly wash it.
After you use it, just run water through it just like you did with the coffee and pour it out through the spout like the coffee and you’ve rinsed it out. The company does recommend cleaning every few uses though.
I clean mine about once a week (ya some may say it’s gross but I rinse thoroughly right away and I use the same coffee every day).
Purchase on Amazon for under $15.
Overall I use this item every single morning and I’m obsessed with it! This is how I make iced coffee with Keurig. No complains so far! One less thing to worry about the night before! Always a plus in parenthood!

Some really nice stuff on this internet site, I enjoy it.
That's so cool (no pun intended)! I usually only drink iced coffee/tea in the summer, but this would be a great gadget to have when I'm craving it. And totally pays for itself instead of running to Dunkin or Starbucks!
Oh totally!! This thing has been a lifesaver!
