Meal Plans for Picky Eaters

August 5, 2020 by Amelia Zamora 1 Comment

Do you have a picky eater on your hands? Does you child refuse to try new things or refuse to eat what you cook for dinner? Well I found some meal plans for picky eaters that your kids may actually love!

Trying to find meal plans for picky eaters can seem impossible. You’ve probably tried making easy “kid-friendly” dinners that you see all over Pinterest.

You may have given up on trying to get your kid to eat anything besides goldfish and waffles because its just not worth the battle anymore.

Look no further mama, I found some great meal plans for picky eaters that are solely developed for babies, toddlers, and kids.

Be Sneaky

Sneaking in veggies where ever you can is an age old tip from moms. But here are some ideas to help you figure out what exactly to mix.

I sneak some spinach into fruit smoothies for my kids. I also will juice some carrots and celery before adding it to the smoothies to help mask the taste and get them their daily veggies.

If you kids don’t like smoothies, you can have them dip their veggies.

My oldest never would eat carrots until she went to school and saw her little Preschool friends having the provided carrots and ranch snack.

Then she started requesting that snack at home! Which was great!

My youngest is a dipper. She loves dipping everything in a sauce. If your child is the same way, try dipping broccoli or carrots in some light or fat free ranch (or the real stuff, whatever works).

Sure it is not as healthy as having it plain, but whatever works to get some sort of veggies into your kids mouth works right?

Bake Veggies into Something New

Another tip is to bake the veggies into something. Whether it is a sweet treat made with zucchini or black beans into cupcakes or if you can sneak it something to their mac n cheese like peas that they wont mind because its covered in cheese.

There are a ton of different recipes on Pinterest with baking alternatives with veggies that you can test out.

Nurture Life

This monthly meal delivery is directed towards kids and toddlers. They have a variety of different options (all healthy) ranging from meatballs to mac n’ cheese.

Best of all, you decide which meals to have delivered and have your kids try. So if you know they HATE chicken, you can choose options without chicken so you don’t waste money.

These meals are great for late work nights or nights when there is practices or events happening where you know you’d probably end up just grabbing fast food on the way home.

Not anymore. With these meals, you just heat them up and enjoy! They even offer family meals so the whole family can enjoy the same thing.

No more cooking 4 different things for dinner just so your picky eater kids will eat something.

They even offer a “cold lunch” option for a healthy meal to take on the go! Perfect for school, a field trip, play date, or a road trip. (For road trip with kids tips and hacks, read here)

If you’d like to try you can use code MAMABEAR for $15 off your first order!

As you baby grows, the food choices also grows into finger type foods. This way your baby is hitting all the milestones nutrition wise but also working on important life skills like self-feeding and hand-eye coordination.

You can choose to pay weekly or monthly for your subscription and the baby food is delivered weekly. These can also be frozen up to 2 months, to save for later if you will be out of town or if you want to stock up.

You could even gift this subscription to someone. This would make a great and unique baby shower gift or something to get after baby comes to help mama out!

🍫 HEALTHY CHOCOLATE OREO SHAKE 🥛
.
Ingredients:
• almond milk (or milk of choice) normally we use fairlife chocolate protein milk but we were out 😞
• one scoop @ghostlifestyle Oreo whey protein
• ice
That’s it for the main show. I added @torani dark chocolate sauce & whipped cream for some sweetness but that’s totally optional if you want to keep it 100% healthy.
.
This is a perfect afternoon sweet treat but with protein so at least it’s semi-healthy 😜
.
#proteinshakes #proteinshakerecipes #proteinpowderrecipes #healthytreats

@target annual car seat drop off is happening now! April 16-29th go drop off your old car seats and get 20% off a new one (or other baby gear item).
.
We took an old 5pt harness one, dropped it off and got 20% off a new booster seat! Plus the coupon works with any store sale they are having so we got a $40 car seat for half off because we combined the 20% coupon with a carseat sale target was having that day. #targetdeals🎯
.
Love that @target partners with a company that recycles the old seats to make construction material like steel beams, carpet padding, buckets, pallets, etc.
.
Not sponsored, just genuinely love this program and wanted to share this in case other parents out there didn’t know this was a thing! ❤️ #yourwelcome
.
#carseats #tradein #targetcarseattradein #motherhoodhack #parenthoodshared #momhacks101
