The Best Interactive Sites for Education

You may be at home thinking or worrying that your toddler or even big kid isn’t getting the education they need whether they attend school or they are distance learning/homeschooling. The best interactive sites for education can teach your child as well as letting them enjoy learning.

Interactive sites for education come in all shapes and platforms. Some are great for toddlers and others are geared more towards older aged kids.

Either way there are some great sites to help promote a well-rounded education as well as showing kids learning can be fun!

My list for interactive sites ranges for toddler ages to big kids to help promote fun learning.

ABCMouse

This is the first one that comes to mind when thinking of interactive sites for education.

ABCMouse has helped my toddler (aged 2) learn her letters and counting. I am impressed with how well this interactive site combines fun and education.

This site will also expand as your child grows. As your child grows up the difficulty level and different games expand.

This site also allows for your child to level up and go at their own pace. It is a fun game like learning environment filled with games, creativity, and learning.

ABCMouse also offers family packs, meaning if you have multiple kids in different age levels, you can pay for one membership.

ABCMouse is geared towards kids ages 2-8 and is only $10 per month with a 30 day free trial!

Homer

This interactive site for education is another one for ages 2-8 and is geared more towards learning to read. This is also a $10 monthly subscription.

Homer has categories like math, reading, creativity, social learning and thinking skills.

This app is also personalized for the child and also offers hands-on option bundle for your child. The Digital + Hands-On Learning Bundle includes an annual digital membership+ 3 activity kits.

Homer also lets your child pick their interests which can range from categories like princesses, sports, space, animals, dinosaurs, etc. This allows for even more personalization for your child.

Adventure Academy

This is from the same creators as ABCMouse, but Adventure Academy is geared for kids ages 8-13.

This is also a monthly $10 subscription with a free 30 day trail period.

Adventure Academy is geared more towards traditional school subjects like language arts, math, science, and social studies. But it still incorporates a fun way of learning.

You choose a character to go on learning adventures with and solve puzzles and answer questions in a way that is fun and interactive. You level up in the game to unlock fun new clothing items for your character.

The kids can also play with fellow peers in a safe way that is monitored for safety. Kids can also create their own houses for their adventurer which promotes creativity as well.

Generation Genius

This interactive site for education is for students in grades K-8th. This is mainly a science based site. Generation Genius allows instant access to hours of fun, standards-based videos, reading material, quiz games, simple DIY activities & more.
