Baby bath products can be hard to decipher which ones are worth spending the money. Which ones will you truly use and which are a waste of time? Here are my top recommendations that I used every day for baby bath time.
This has been my favorite product thus far.
I have used it for both kids up until they were able to sit up in the bath tub by themselves. This item comes with an infant sling for smaller babies, but I never used the sling since both my girls were 9.1 lbs at birth.
The tub has grips to help keep little ones from sliding down and it has a bump for their bums so they don’t slide. Purchase for $18 at Target.
This item is new to my bath time ritual. This item provides a barrier for water to only fill a specific part of the tub so no water is wasted. Read my detailed review of the BabyDam here.
This item helps keep kids from slipping when in the tub. This has definitely saved a few slipping accidents in our tub. Purchase for $15 at Target.
I personally got this one here because it matched our bath mat and kneeling pad.
But anything that can cover the bath spout to keep little ones from bumping their heads on the sharp metal spouts.
We bought this after our oldest would bend over to play with her toys and she would hit her head when she got up.
Purchase for $13 at Target.
This is a must have for parents.
Bending over is killer on your back while giving little ones a bath. So you kneel on the floor but then that’s killer on your knees.
Therefore this kneeling pad helps protect and save your knees. Purchase for $16 at Target.
This item is great for bathing multiples. I use mine with my toddler and baby and it works wonders!
Even if you only have one kiddo this item is still great to keep them in place, prevent slipping, and helps keep the baby upright if your little one is still a little wobbly sitting up on their own.

Other good idea items would be a cup or bath spout to pour water over the kids to wash hair, etc.
Another fun items for the kids would be bath toys and even plastic sand toys would work in the bath!
My advice is to NOT get bath squirt toys because they get filled with water and can never fully dry so mold starts to grow over time and it gets gross and you end up throwing them away!
Save yourself some money and buy plastic bath toys that can dry fully!
