<h2 class="wp-block-heading has-text-align-center">No, I&#8217;m not a hairy woman. No, I don&#8217;t have dark facial hair. No, I didn&#8217;t <em>need</em> to shave to my face. I chose to and here&#8217;s why&#8230;</h2>

<p class="has-medium-font-size">I wanted smoother skin and my makeup to be <em>flawless</em>. Now I am no way or shape a makeup artist, but I wanted smoother skin and my makeup to not look cakey.</p>



<p class="has-medium-font-size"> I don&#8217;t pack on the makeup like some do, I&#8217;m a mom so I don&#8217;t have time for the whole primer, foundation, concealer, contour, etc etc makeup routine. </p>

<p class="has-medium-font-size">For the most part my routine is simple.</p>



<p class="has-medium-font-size">But I had the problem of my concealer and foundation on certain parts of my face looking creased and not smooth like I&#8217;d see on Instagram or even on real life people.</p>



<p class="has-medium-font-size">I didn&#8217;t just one day wake up and say &#8220;I’m going to shave my face cuz why not?!” </p>



<p class="has-medium-font-size">It didn’t happen this way. I was down the YouTube wormhole and came across one video about how this woman shaved her face and why. </p>



<p class="has-medium-font-size">So I clicked on it and it was a funny and yet intriguing video. Just YouTube it and you&#8217;ll find thousands of videos on it!</p>



<p class="has-medium-font-size">Now she didn’t have dark facial hair either, but she explained how a friend of hers told her about how she shaved the peach hairs off her face and it made her makeup flawless. </p>

<p class="has-medium-font-size">So as I am watching this video, I find myself nodding along with her reasoning and thinking to myself, “I have the <em>exact</em> same issues!”.</p>



<p class="has-medium-font-size">Now before you chalk me up as just being insane and “extra”, hear me out. </p>



<p class="has-medium-font-size">I didn’t just take my husbands razor and go to town on my face. NO! </p>



<p class="has-medium-font-size">There are actually these small <a href="https://amzn.to/3sOmT0j" target="_blank" rel="noopener sponsored" title=""><span style="background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)" class="has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color">womans face razors</span></a> out on the beauty market and I actually had some in my cabinet I used years ago and sort of just tossed them aside since I tried them once for brows and didn’t care for them.</p>



<p class="has-medium-font-size"> This is the type of “razor” I used. It is not sharp, it is not a “real” razor like you would use on your legs. See the photo for what I’m talking about.</p>

<p class="has-medium-font-size">So I took the <a href="https://amzn.to/3sOmT0j" target="_blank" rel="noopener sponsored" title=""><span style="background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)" class="has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color">small razor </span></a>and just gentle glided it in small downward motions with the grain of my hairs and I was SHOCKED at how much peach fuzz came off. </p>



<p class="has-medium-font-size">Like I said before I am not a hairy person, you cant see the peach fuzz on my face unless you were all up in my grill.</p>



<p class="has-medium-font-size">I “shaved” my entire face. </p>



<p class="has-medium-font-size">Forehead, cheeks, jaw line, nose, and around my mouth.</p>



<p class="has-medium-font-size"> I recommend being extremely careful around these areas and you should not put pressure against your face.</p>



<p class="has-medium-font-size"> And I put shaved in quotes because a lot of people I have told in real life are shocked when I tell them and I get a lot of deer in headlights looks from people. </p>



<p class="has-medium-font-size">But don’t knock it until you try it. Granted I am no way endorsing this for young girls. I just wanted to try it since I heard the benefits and thought why not try it.</p>

<p class="has-medium-font-size">I also did research about hair growth back and an esthetician blogged that hair growth is genetic and hormonal.</p>



<p class="has-medium-font-size"> Shaving will <em>not </em>automatically make the hair grow back thicker and darker. It’s all hormonal and genetics.</p>



<p class="has-medium-font-size">The results? I was astonished. I felt my face when I was done and it felt so smooth! It was like a baby’s booty!</p>



<p class="has-medium-font-size"> It was so soft and smooth I couldn’t stop touching my face. The videos and articles I watched said to “shave” on a clean, freshly cleansed face. </p>



<p class="has-medium-font-size">So I did just that! I washed my face and toned it with this toner and then “shaved”. </p>



<p class="has-medium-font-size">Afterwards I put on moisturizer and it felt <strong>amazing</strong>! </p>



<p class="has-medium-font-size">The small woman’s face razor also exfoliated all the dead skin cells off my face too so that is an added bonus. My skin felt younger and looked so fresh!</p>

<p class="has-medium-font-size">I woke up and was so eager to test it out. And I was not disappointed. </p>



<p class="has-medium-font-size">My tinted moisturizer, I use this one, went on so smooth! Unlike ever before! I used the tinted moisturizer then did concealer on certain spots that needed it on my face like I usually do. </p>



<p class="has-medium-font-size">After I blended and set with powder, I was so happy! It looked so smooth and supple like I wasn’t even wearing makeup!</p>



<p class="has-medium-font-size">Now the test, I went out with my sister-in-law later and she even commented on how smooth my face looked! </p>



<p class="has-medium-font-size">That it looked so good like I wasn’t even wearing makeup! </p>



<p class="has-medium-font-size">MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!</p>

<p class="has-medium-font-size">The after my skin as a whole looks brighter and smoother after the exfoliation of scraping the dead skin off!</p>



<p class="has-medium-font-size"> Plus my makeup just overall looks smoother in my opinion.</p>



<p class="has-medium-font-size">It was recommended in the videos that you do not have to do this daily or even weekly, some only do this once every few months and some just once a year! </p>



<p class="has-medium-font-size">It all depends on your personal preference and how quick your hair grows. Now I have only done this once and that was almost a month ago and just now getting signs of peach fuzz coming back, so I am pleasantly surprised at this whole experience.</p>
