The Best Sunscreen Applicator

Summer is fast approaching which means warmer weather and more sunshine. This also means making sure to apply sunscreen to the family, especially those kids! Sunscreen can be a pain to apply, especially to wiggly kids, this is why I’m sharing the best sunscreen applicator to make life easier!

Summer time is always a fun season. Sunscreen application however is not. This sunscreen applicator will make your life easier with less hassle from the kids.

I always dreaded putting on sunscreen on my kids, especially their faces. I wanted their little faces and shoulders (or any area prone to burning quicker) to be soaked in sunscreen.

Arms and legs were always easier because I could just spray them down with the sunscreen sprays, but their faces and burn-prone areas, I wanted to make sure I covered every inch.

I would wrangle them down to apply it with my hands and that was always a battle filled with tears and yelling.

Not exactly how you want to spend your days in summer.

Until I found this amazing sunscreen applicator that made my life SO MUCH BETTER!

One, this gadget is cool because you fill up the handle area with sunscreen and just roll it on their faces.

They can even do it themselves!

I love that it has a roller ball which rolls on the sunscreen then it has a foamy surrounding area which blends it into their skin!

I used to use a beauty blender or makeup sponge to apply the sunscreen (almost like foundation) and that worked great as well!

But this sunscreen applicator made it easier to roll on, blend, and be done in one quick step.

I will say one bad thing to this sunscreen applicator is that depending on what sunscreen you use it can be harder to use this applicator.

I use the Young Living sunscreen for faces, which is a thicker sunscreen and it can get stuck and it does take more time to apply.

I have tried it with a more liquid-y sunscreen and it is easier to roll on and apply.

Plus the kids can re-apply as needed and do it themselves, taking one more task off your mom plate this summer!

It is also super travel friendly, it fits in my swim bag, purse, luggage, basically anywhere I go in the summer, this sunscreen applicator went too!

PROS:

  • easy to apply sunscreen
  • keeps sunscreen in the handle so you can re-apply on the go
  • sponge attached for easy blending
  • roller ball for easy and quick application
  • fun summer colors
  • can purchase replacement tops
  • travel friendly
  • re-fillable
  • mess-free application

CONS:

  • it can be harder to use depending on the sunscreen, thicker sunscreen doesn’t roll out very well so takes longer to apply
  • does cost more money than just using your hands

Overall I love how easy this sunscreen applicator is to use and I love how simple it makes my life.
