Electric NoseFrida Review

If you are a parent, then you have heard of the Fridababy brand. And probably have even heard of the snotsucker which is a safe way to get baby boogers out, well they came out with an electric nosefrida. Here is how it compares.

The Fridababy snotsucker has been around for years. It is an easy way to get those stubborn baby boogers out of baby’s nose. Does the electric nosefrida do the same?

In short, yes it does the same exact thing. But there is a major difference between the original snotsucker and the electric nosefrida.

One is manual. The other is electric.

The manual one, I have personally used for over 5 years and it has worked great! To read more about the original one, read here. Or watch this review on Youtube.

The electric one I just bought to see the difference, and mainly because my youngest who is now 3, HATES the snotsucker.

My oldest I never had a major issue with boogers or her letting me use the snotsucker on her nose. My youngest is a different story.

She hates it, but she gets the worst stuffy, booger noses. She gets so congested, I have to use it weekly but she screams, kicks, runs away, etc. every time I pull it out.

So when I saw that Fridababy came out with this electric one that uses battery power to suck the boogers out, I had to try it out.

I got mine at Target for under $40 which for me was worth the price if it worked.

I got home, we opened it and tried it out. It worked AMAZINGLY!

My youngest even did it herself and was so proud when she got the booger out herself. She was fasinated and very into it. WIN!

The electric nosefrida has 3 different power settings, all of which are not super powerful. Honestly the original snotsucker where you suck it out yourself probaby has more force, which is not necessarily safer.

This electric nosefrida comes with 2 different attachments for newborn/smaller noses and a bigger one for bigger kids.

This is perfect since neither one of my girls are great at the whole blowing-your-nose concept yet.

Electric nosefrida comes with a case to store everything in, a charging cord, 2 nasal attachments, and a cleaning brush.

It is super easy to use and clean which makes it even better in my opinion.

PROS of Electric Nosefrida:

  • easy to use
  • easy to clean
  • different nasal size attachments
  • sleek design
  • comes with cleaning brush
  • kids can do it themselves
  • gives correct amount of pressure so it is not painful
  • parents don’t have to suck it out themselves (which most think is gross anyways)
  • travel case for storage or travel
  • silicone nasal attachments so comfortable in nose
  • fits easily in diaper bag/backpack
  • has light that changes color for distraction for kids
  • dishwasher safe tips

CONS of Electric Nosefrida:

  • more expensive than original snotsucker (but worth it in my opinion)
  • you have to charge it for it to work unlike the original snotsucker which is manually “powered”

Overall I am so glad I bought the electric nosefrida because it makes my life easier! No more holding my kids down to get the boogers out! No more tears and screaming fights, they can easily do it themselves!
