Babyganics Lotion Sunscreen & Bug Spray

Now that summer is in full swing, protecting little baby skin is a MUST! I use Babyganics Lotion Sunscreen SPF 50 for both my toddler and my 5 month old.

What I love about Babyganics lotion products is that they are free of harsh chemicals, which is why I also clean with them (see my cleaning product review here).

The sunscreen is non-allergenic and tear-free! And this has been tested! Trying to apply sunscreen to a wiggly baby and resistant toddler is no small task, meaning I have gotten sunscreen EVERYWHERE.

It washes out completely from clothing and it does not burn or irritate skin or eyes.

Both my daughters have sensitive skin/eczema and this sunscreen does not cause flare ups at all.

The lotion formula is on the thicker side so if you are looking for a thin consistency sunscreen, this is not for you.

But I like the thickness because, personally, it makes me feel like its blocking the UV rays and harsh sunlight on their delicate skin.

I have even used it to help keep my own sunburn prone areas protected and it works way better than other “adult” sunscreens.

Purchase at Target for $13 for an 8oz bottle.

The Babyganics bug spray is also amazing. It is not made with harsh chemicals. It is also DEET free, the bug spray blend of plant and essential oils (Citronella, Peppermint, Rosemary, Lemongrass & Geranium) is pungent to mosquitoes.

The spray also doesn’t have a “chemically” smell and it doesn’t leave a sticky residue. The bug spray is great for babies because of the natural ingredients, it even works better than some other chemically made insect repellents. Purchase at Target for $10 for a 6oz bottle.

These items are great safe alternatives for the family than other harsher chemical brands out there.

Plus you can purchase smaller travel size packs of one bottle of each item, only at the Target stores, to try them out before committing to a huge bottle.

So go ahead and grab a travel kit and see if you like the Babyganic brand. Your family will thank you!
